The commercial version of the Sikorsky Sea King (S61N) is adapted for Search and Rescue Operations, being operated by Bristows Helicopters on behalf of H.M. Coastguard.

 

Current aircraft at the Daedalus airfield include the Sikorsky Sea King (S61N) (G-BDIJ) of Bristows SAR, the Hampshire police Britten-Norman Defender 4000 (G-SCJH), along with 4 DH Tiger Moths (including G-AAWO and G-AAHI), 2 DH Gypsy Moths, a Harvard (G-RAIX), Chipmunk (G-BVVV), Piper Warrior, Piper Cub, Jodel and Luscombe and various gliders (see below). In addition various aircraft are under restoration including a pair of PBY5A Catalina.
