One of the wonderful things about the HMS Daedalus Virtual Heritage Museum is the look of wonder and fascination on children's faces as they see aircraft collections and flight simulation exhibits close at hand.
Many children have never been so near an aircraft before, let alone some of the ones they have heard about in their lessons and seen on the television. Therefore the internet is a wonderful way to introduce them to their national heritage right on their doorstep without even leaving school!
Children are a very important part of the Virtual Museum's activities and we welcome visits from all age groups - even the very young seem to enjoy their time with us! Students and teachers alike can concentrate on the main reasons for visiting - learning through an enjoyable day online.
Education and enjoyment go hand in hand at the HMS Daedalus Virtual Heritage Museum. We aim to make your day online as smoothly as possible.
