TERMSThe Star was awarded for one day or more of service in France, Belgium, Holland or Germany between 6 June 1944 (D-Day) and 8 May 1945.BARSIf later entitled to that star, the ATLANTIC bar would be worn.Note that the Aircrew Europe Bar is not issued with this star because one could not qualify for that star after 05 June 1944. RIBBONThe ribbon consists of equal stripes of blue, white, red, white, and blue. The colours represent the Union flag and those of France and the Netherlands but not of Belgium.For information on Fleet Air Arm campaign medal rolls and individual awards contact the relevant Armed Services Medal Offices.
