Nathan, RS Sub Lt, Masters, FJ Sub Lt and Coulter, SV L/A of 826 albacore sqdn on 9.3.1942 all seriously injured after shot down by 2 Bf109f,  20 miles south of Sollum. They set fire to the aircraft which then burnt out. All taken POW?

Neely, AD Lt, Wood, RG Lt and Moore, VSA NA TAG 825 sqdn FTR 28.5.1940 following a bombing raid over Dunkirk. Neely and Wood POW. Moore POW [recovered?]. German POW 

Neely took part in the Stalag Luft III Great Escape 1944.  He was the 28th escapee to crawl through the 25ft deep, 300ft long tunnel to freedom. He was only captured because his tie was recognised at a checkpoint. Recaptured and returned to Luft III, Sagan. Survived subsequent Gestapo murders (Reference website)

Stockwell, WEJ PO and Neil, RC Sub Lt 800 skua sqdn. FTR on 17.11.1940 when ran out of fuel escorting hurricanes to Malta. Shot down by AA, and crash landed at Siracusa. Both taken POW.  Italian POW
