It was shot down by a Dewoitine Dw.520. Beech, GR Sub Lt, Walsh-Atkins, LB Sub Lt both okay. L/A JW Green POW later released. Taken POW by the Vichy French.  French POW  soon released 1942

Crane VR Sub Lt slight injured, pow?, Sub Lt JL Mitchell, and L/A DG Ward both POW OK, later released.

FTR  27.10.1944 to HMS Impacable, hit by flak from German submarine U-1060, into sea alongside target, at Vaago island during attack on shipping in Tong Fjord. The aircraft crashed off Torget, near Ronnoysund. Weir was wounded and Waters killed. Weir was taken POW by the Germans. German POW

Their Swordfish (P4127) was  captured intact to Stabilimento Costruzioni Aeronautiche, Guidonia 27.2.41
