History

HMS Engadine was an aircraft transport ship, built at Dumbarton, as the mercantile Clan Bucanan. she was launched in May 1941, and subsequently commissioned into the Royal Navy.

HMS Engadine had no flight deck and was primarily a transport ship only in the North Atlantic. She reverted to being Clan Bucanan 1946 and scrapped in Spain November 1962.
