Hello, sorry to take some time to get back to you. I am pleased to advise that I have located, and visited this young mans `grave in the Arbroath Eastern Cemetry.
I attended a service there last Anzac Day, which was most moving . Whilst there I found that some 21 (I think it was) war graves are there, as well tended as you might expect.Amongst the graves was that of Mr David.I am actually going back there tomorrow , to place some flowers on his stone. The thought of doing this made me take a look at my notes, which brought me back to our contact. Kind regards, Alastair Derrick. |
