Dear Sir,

Information is requested about the circumstances of death or loss of the following FAA aviators. All had the Dutch nationality. Could you please point me to the proper archive and/or person, where more crash data may be held?

The request is part of an enquiry into the circumstances of loss of all Dutch aviators, who served in the RAF or the FAA during the Second World War. Results are filed at the Dutch Airforce Historical Branch, and are to be published.

It seems that all men listed below were lost in flying accidents. The amount of information about the circumstances, as held by the relevant archives in Holland, is minimal. Therefore, any help is greatly appreciated. These men belong to a mostly forgotted group.

If any-one in the UK is interested in the subject, I can provide portrait photographs of several of these aviators.

Kind regards,

Rob Philips
