Midshipman John A David was flying the 4 month old Fairey Albacore N4305 from the Air Station at Arbroath on May '4I, when it caught fire in the air and crashed into a hill one mile northwest of Mouldie cottage, Glen Cova. He was serving in my uncle's own squadron of time, 767 deck landing training sqaudron. Were you related to Midshipman John A David at all? Maybe we could dig out more info if required.
