HMS Holm Sound , during World War II was an Aircraft Component Repair Ship. Previously the PF(C) type cargo ship Empire Labuan, then the auxiliary minelayer Port Quebec (ex-motor vessel of 5936 grt) requisitioned on 25 November 1939, built by Thompson, Sunderland and completed in Jun 1940.

She was converted into an aircraft repair ship while building at Gray shipyard, West Hartlepool. She was launched 5 September 1944 and completed 8 November 1944. Sold out into mercantile service in April 1948.

She saw wartime service as a repair ship 1944-45 with the British Pacific Fleet.
