HMS Vengeance and BP Business Partnership
The Friends of HMS Vengeance to date is all about partnerships
and a major player in the world's industries, BP is being invited to discuss
in joining us in saving the VENGEANCE and hopefully assisting in the Vengeance
Naval Aviation Heritage Museum venture.
BP Marine - Part of BP Amoco plc., BP Marine is one of the world's leading
suppliers of fuels, lubricants and technical services to the global marine
industry. Recognising the importance of, and need for, showcase activities
of global corporate industries and to propmote their maritime activities,
the company is being invited to explore assisting in bringing the ship
back to the UK, as well as to participate in subsequent collaboration including
to promote the continued Anglo-Brazilian relationship.
BP Gas & Power Latin America. BP is one of the largest private producers
and marketers of natural gas in Latin America, with substantial reserves
and a presence in several countries including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia,
Colombia, Mexico, Trinidad, and Venezuela. We are
involved in thermal power generation and are pursuing new projects
in various
locations throughout Latin America. BP's Latin America Gas & Power
activities were established in 1990 and are based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
however, the company has been active in the region since the late 1950's.
