A complete
Naval Heritage centre

The VENGEANCE will
form a complete Naval Heritage centre, bridging the gap between history
and present day Aerospace, Information Technology and the Defence Industries.
Facilities
will include heritage, educational and activities centres, trade exhibition
facilities, recreational & tourism areas, shops, and of course the
anticipated centerpiece, the VENGEANCE, restored to all her splendour.

Project Costs

A feasibility study and business plan are
currently being developed and will determine amount required for relocation,
restoration, and berthing pier improvements. Comparisons are being made
with the preserved aircraft carriers in the USA where they have up to 20
years of preservation experience, and with our own warships and other large
preserved ships such as the Belfast, Cavalier, Warrior etc.

Financed through entrance
fees, educational and study activities, special events and programmes,
corporate activities, commercial sector partnerships, community contributions
and Investment Plan (CLI). Some economic development grants and financing.

senior citizens will make a visit to the VENGEANCE affordable and competitive
with other South and SW England attractions.

Plymouth, Falmouth, SW England or Southampton she will be in a convenient
location within minutes of major city centres and routes of communication
within easy road access to the ship in place.

is in such good condition we estimate that some areas of the ship could
be ready for visitors as early as 1-3 months after its arrival in the UK.
