Fleet
Air Arm Naval Aviation gift store now open for naval aviation books and
gifts
This site is dedicated to the men and
women who served in and with the Fleet Air Arm in the Second World War, and
was launched on the 57th anniversary of the great Fleet Air Arm
dive-bombing strike on the German Battleship Tirpitz, 3 April 1944.
The Fleet Air Arm Archive 1939-1945 is
one the most comprehensive military and history sites on the Net. With a
focus on the Fleet Air Arm in the UK and Commonwealth, this portway to the
world of naval aviation around the world between 1939 and 1945 contains
over 1000 pages and covers all operational naval air squadrons, aircraft
and ships used by the FAA in the war. It also focuses on the people that
made up the FAA, from the Debt of Honour Register of all those who failed
to return, to biographies of over 300 of the most decorated officers, TAGs
and personalities. This is THE website on the wartime Fleet Air Arm ...and
this is the story of those men and women....
